District 5 represents the Western Shore - Martin's River area and includes Gold River, Beech Hill, Western Shore, Martin's Point, and part of Martin's River.

Bob Myra grew up locally and resides in Martin’s Point with his family.  He has a wife, five children and two grandchildren.  He has been a Councillor for the Municipality of the District of Chester since 1997.

Bob has always been active in sports and has played senior and junior hockey and fastball.  He has also coached both minor hockey and baseball for many years.  Presently, Bob coaches minor baseball in Western Shore and is involved in the Co-ed League.   Bob is a member of Clarke Lodge #61, Chester and LaHave Chapter #17 in Bridgewater, and of the Philae Shriners.  He also plays an active role in the Royal Canadian Legion Harding Branch #144 in Western Shore, where he holds the Offices of the Chaplain and Chair of the Sports Committee, and is involved in many other community organizations.
