3RD ANNUAL LEGION LEAF WALK ( 9:00 am - 3:00 pm )

3rd Annual Legion Leaf Walk Chester Basin Everett Branch #88 all proceeds from walk go towards the Afghanistan Veterans Memorial Plaque. Registration fee $10 or you can pick up Pledge sheets at the Legion Bar or call Betty 275-2577. Registration 9:00 am and walk at 10:00 am. Start at the Legion to the trail, cross over Rte 3, around Borgel's Point Road to Rte 3 and back to the Legion (approx. 5 km). Water will be supplied. BBQ 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Horseshoes 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Pool and Darts inside. Bar opens at noon. Fun for all ages. Come out and support your Veterans.

Legacy Park Official Opening - Come celebrate the official opening of the 250th Legacy Park in Chester Basin from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. In case of rain, ceremonies will be held at the Chester Basin Legion. The Community Park, located at the corner of Croft Road and Hwy 12, is being developed to recognize the region's rich heritage. Refreshments to be served following a ribbon cutting ceremony. All are welcome.
