Community Sustainability Planning for the District of Chester
In 2007 Council started a new planning program. A Steering Committee worked with consultants to prepare the integrated community sustainability plan, or ICSP.

The final document was delivered to Council in May 2009. It is a strategic plan identifying trends, issues, and opportunities, recommending actions based on principles of sustainability. The focus is on environment, culture, economy and social needs. Here is some information on how you can do your part and some details on our progress.
