We will discover the people who made Chester what it is and then play those characters in a live performance created together during Camp. Actors will stretch their abilities in improv games, prop building, costume design, scene work, and make-up. Camp Facilitator is Cynthia Myers with visits by special guest Barry Redmond and others! CHESTER BRASS CONCERT ( 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm )
CHESTER BRASS CONCERTS are back at the Bandstand in Chester Sunday evenings starting tonight and on August 14 at 7:00 pm. The Chester Brass under the direction of Conductor and Music Director George Morrison will perform at the Chester Band Stand starting 7:00 pm. The thirty piece band will play a musical selection of marches, folk music and show tunes. The public is invited to enjoy these and other musical works by the Chester Brass at the bandstand overlooking the Chester Yacht Club and Mahone Bay. The audience is requested to bring folding chairs and comfortable clothing for an open air concert.  All ages are welcome.

FLOWER SHOW & TEA ( 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm )
The Chester Garden Club will hold its Annual Flower Show and Tea entitled "Chester Gems" at the Chester Legion Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for age 16 and under. The show will open at 1:30 pm and tea will be served from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded from 4:00 to 5:30pm. Please be advised this is a walking tour, so be sure to wear proper footwear. The walk is 3/4 of a mile to the money pit with various stops along the way.
