MODC-T- 2018-002 - Request for Expressions of Interest - Purchase and Use of Property Located at 443 Highway 3, Simms Settlement

The Municipality of the District of Chester has declared the property noted below surplus property and will consider Expressions of Interest from proponents for the purchase of the property. The Municipality will dispose of the property in accordance with the Municipal Government Act. The objective is to attract a development that would complement and benefit the community.

                  • 443 Highway 3 in Simms Settlement, formerly known as Simms Settlement School.

MODC-T- 2018-003 - RFP - Sector Strategy - Phase 1 - Sector Opportunity Assessment

The Municipality of the District of Chester requires a consultant to support the development of sector strategies and action plans for the Municipality’s key industry sectors.

Based on clear economic evidence and building on the data already attained from existing reports and strategic plans, stakeholder consultations and other pertinent documents, the study will ensure that the Municipality focuses its efforts on the sectors that have the best opportunity for attraction and provide the greatest impact on the community. The overall objective of this project is to prioritize and create sustainable sector strategies and action plans for growth within each of the key sectors to support long term, diversified growth in the Municipality.

The Municipality reserves the right to Modify the terms of this RFP at any time at its sole discretion, suspend or cancel the RFP at any time for any reason without penalty; reject any or all proposals, not necessarily accept the lowest proposal, or to accept any which it may consider being in the best interest of the Municipality; waive formality, informality or technicality in any proposal; etc. as outlined in the proposal call.

MODC-T- 2018-004 - RFT - Supply and Delivery of a Mobile Tower Unit

The Municipality of the District of Chester requires the supply and delivery of a mobile tower unit (including nozzle system) to use in as specified in the tender document to dissipate leachate by evaporation through atomization and making snow in the winter months.
