Fishing Derby

Fishing Derby & BBQ at Hutts Lake, Chester Basin from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Non-Motorized boats only!  Registration is $10 per adult and $5 per person 18 years and under. All prizes donated by Kelvin’s Taxidermy & Gun Shop.  First Place: Highest total combined weight of 5 trout ($100 Gift Card from Kelvin’s Taxidermy & Gun Shop). Second Place: Highest total weight of single trout ($75 Value of Fishing Supplies).
Third Place: Longest single trout ($50 value of Fishing Supplies).  One Prize per Fisher. BBQ on site (Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Pop).  All proceeds will be donated to PRO Kids.  *No general fishing license required to register a trout (June 7-8 is NS Sport Fishing Weekend).  Registration and weigh-in at Chester Basin Recreation Park (353 Lower Grant Road).  For more info contact:  secretary@captainkiddrodandgun.com.
