Health Record Keeper Workshop

Our next Health Record Keeper workshop will be held on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14th @Blandford Community Centre! This workshop will be of interest to anyone who wants to finally put all their medical information in one place. Each participant will receive a book preloaded with templates to fill in their information related to care appointments/tests/providers/medications etc.

- How do you prepare for an appointment? What questions should you consider?
- What were the results of those tests?
- Where is that specialists phone number?
- What screenings are free in Nova Scotia?
- What vaccinations should I consider as I age and which ones cost money ?

This tool is one way of eliminating the besieged feeling many of us have from navigating a large health system with multiple contact points. It will help you develop self advocacy skills in a meaningful, productive way and become a partner (not a bystander) in your health care.
