Development Agreement for Valley Road (PID 600993499) - 20 Unit  Residential Development

What:   Public Information Meeting for proposed Development Agreement
When:  6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024
Where:  Council Chambers, 151 King Street, Chester
What is it:  An application for development of 20 residential dwelling units (two 10-unit buildings). The development is proposed to occur on two parcels, which will be subdivided from the existing single parcel. This use requires a Development Agreement in accordance with the current Village of Chester Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use By-Law.

How can I have my say?  The meeting is a chance to hear about the proposal and to ask questions.

After this meeting the Community Development staff will present a staff report to the Village Planning Advisory Committee (date TBD) who will make a recommendation to Municipal Council. Council then holds a Public Hearing to receive feedback from the public on the proposed Development Agreement. Council will then vote on whether to approve the Development Agreement.

All Council and Committee meetings are open to the public. Some dates are yet to be determined. Notices with the date, time and location of meetings will be posted in a local newspaper, on our website, on Municipal social media and notices will be posted at the Municipal Office.
