Village Planning Advisory Committee Meeting

A meeting of the Village Planning Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Annex Meeting Room (186 Central Street, Chester).     

Agenda items include:

1. Nominations and appointment of VPAC Vice-Chair;
2. VPAC discussion – “Council considering merging Village Planning Advisory Committee, Municipal Planning Advisory Committee and Heritage Planning Advisory Committee into single Committee”;
3. Staff Memo to VPAC – History of measuring setbacks, eave projections and lot coverage in the Village Land Use By-law;
4. Any other planning matters.

Committee meetings are open to the public to attend. The Committee is open to hearing from members of the public on items directly related to the Agenda. Any issues raised may be discussed with the Committee for a potential recommendation back to Council.
