Starting April 1, maintenance work will begin at the Public Drop-Off area at Kaizer Meadow Landfill that will last approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Work includes sandblasting and painting the Public Drop-Off (PDO) and Houshold Hazardous Waste (HHW) structures.
The work will be sectioned so that only part of the PDO will be closed at a time. During maintenance, extra bins will be on hand to replace any that are inaccessible. Once the PDO structure is complete, we will move to the HHW Depot, which will be closed for public use until the work is finished.
Please expect delays during this time. We will provide up to one week's notice before the HHW site closure.
